🌉 Mostar
Mostar is Bosnia & Herzegovina’s most famous city, celebrated for its UNESCO-listed Stari Most (Old Bridge) arching over the emerald Neretva River. The Old Town’s cobbled streets, Ottoman-era mosques, and lively bazaars create a unique blend of Eastern and Western heritage. It’s also known for its bridge divers, traditional cuisine, and nearby natural wonders like Kravice Waterfalls.
🕌 Blagaj
Blagaj is a picturesque historic village at the source of the Buna River, just outside Mostar. Its highlight is the Blagaj Tekija, a 16th-century Dervish monastery built into the cliffside, combining Ottoman and Mediterranean architectural styles. The serene riverside setting and spiritual atmosphere make it one of Herzegovina’s most iconic cultural and natural landmarks.

Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia & Herzegovina, lies in a valley surrounded by the Dinaric Alps. Known as the “Jerusalem of Europe,” it uniquely hosts mosques, churches, and synagogues within the same neighborhood. The city is rich in history—from the Ottoman-era Baščaršija bazaar to the site of Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination in 1914.
